has anyone looked behind the trees in the game. i was listening for the second wisper in the krpt and i sounded like it said something about being behind a tree. this made since to me because there have been characters hiding behind trees before in mk games.

Well, I haven't been able to hear anything like that in the other whisper. It doesn't sound like much of anything to me. But if Noob is in the game (not saying I believe that, in fact I seriously doubt that), the two krypt whispers may be connected. I won't tell you not to look, who knows where the secret is hiding, or if it is even there at all.

In the 'House of Pekara' there's a transluscent hooded figure that pops up now and then IN FRONT of the tree on the far side of the arena.

Other than that I don't know anymore about people behind trees...

Show me just ONE tree you can walk behind in the entire game, and I'll show you are very astonished forum poster.

Gotta hand it to some of these people who come up with this stuff, they are creative.

okay if you would scroll up and read my post you will notice that i said nothing about being able to GO BEHIND A TREE, all i said was has anyone LOOKED behind the trees. oh by the way that was to white-pointer.

Maybe in the house of Pekara, but I seriously doubt it. Remember that most of the "Behind the trees" stuff was in the Living Forest.

Tell me, what would be the point of looking behind a tree? You aren't going to unlock anything by looking behind a tree.

Newbie i was just thinking of stuff maybe you could do something usefull and do the same thing

Two reasons why I don't think it has anything to do with someone or something hiding behind a tree

1/ Someone said the other krypt message was just the first one played backwards. They tested this by capturing both to a PC. I've been meaning to try this myself with my capture card to confirm this for myself.

2/ That was done in MK2, and i doubt they will repeat any of their secrets in the same fasion, as that would be too obvious.

I could be wrong, but those are just my thoughts on your idea :) Cheers for the idea anyway.

BTW - I would ignore any users here who seem to try and elevate themselve above others here by talking down to them. Your ideas and comments are just as valid as the next persons.

Buddy, what you're saying makes no sense. So I'm new to these forums, congratulations, you've discovered that. Just because I'm new here though doesn't mean I'm new at the game of MK (I've been playing it since the original was released in 1992) and especially not MK: DA, in fact I could probably kick your butt on any given day but let's not go into that because we'll never know.

Now, I asked you a simple question and I wouldn't think it would have been too difficult to answer. I will re-iterate it. What exactly are you hoping to achieve by looking behind a tree? If you're not trying to unlock something, what do you think you're going to find?

Haven't you ever played MK2? Many think a secret character is in the game, and in the Living Forest in MK2 Smoke and Jade were there. Though, they were clearly visible. Unless the MK Team decided to hide this character very well for once, (since they never really have tried), I'd say there is no final secret. I admit, I still look sometimes, but it doesn't change the fact that I just don't think there is anything left to find. I find these threads interesting anyway though.

Exactly. They were clearly visible. Plus, you didn't need to look behind anything, they just popped out at random intervals. But that didn't unlock anything when you saw them. MK2 was also the only MK game that showed you secret characters in such a way (remember you couldn't actually play AS them, only AGAINST them), I doubt they'd do the same thing again, especially considering that there isn't really anywhere to put such a thing in MK: DA.
