Well when he defeats you the announcer goes "finish him/her". What do you guys think? The development team couldn't have put that in there for nothing? Umm, then again...

I don't think he can. Or atleast he never has against me, and im sure if he could.. he certainly would have atleast once... god knows i've lost enough battles to him wink

Perhaps the "Finish Him" speach is just in there as part of the routine loop the game goes through once one of the fighters has won a second battle. Perhaps they just left it in there to mess with our heads with another "possible" secret tongue

Used to have this weird hunch that if you broke all 4 pillars at Moloch's lair and lose, he would do a fatality. Tried it, didn't work :(
But why then the "finish him / her" thing?
Another misleading fact is when they say that the lair is where Moloch 'consumes flesh', or something like that.
Guess it's all just part of storyline.

You get "Finish Him"when you win with Blaze or Mokap and no fatalities for them either. It gets a litte aggravating, I mean how am I supposed to rock a character that can't finish anyone?

Finish him/her is always after a fight! Even if the person doesn't have a fatality. Don't sometimes when you're fighting computer, they don't perform a fatality?! Arghh.

Exactly, like they do with Blaze and Mokap- they don't have fatalities, yet it always shows up "Finish Him/Her!".

If you guys had done your homework, you'd notice that all throughout mortal kombats, bosses have always had the trademark "finish him/her" said. Only exception I think is the origional MK but that's stretching my brain back to 1993 and my brain doesnt work that good anymore.

in mk3, or atleast mk trilogy, both shao kahn and motaro have fatalities...Shao pounds you into the ground with his hammer and makes you explode, and motaro rips your head off.

Really, dang, I was wondering what their fatalities are, since I have the PSX version of it and their fatalities are only on the N64.

(In Trilogy) Wasnt that just a 'Brutality' and not a 'Fatality' confused

no they are real fatalities, you can even play as motaro and shao kahn with a code and do them to people.
