I believe the Kintaro stuff is part of a prologue from one of the MK3 guides, it was probably meant to be canon, but was retconned later. I don't think they initially meant to bring him back.

As far as unused bios I don't know. Tremor's can be found in the intro to MK3 apparently (under Rain) as well as the instruction booklet. Haven't seen anything else online though.

UNUSED BIOS.

The bios in the Games section are the ones that were in the actual game. He's looking for and I posted the ones that were not put in the actual game.

First, thanks Xiaohu. Second, I have a theory.

Now don't shoot me, but it's worth considering that maybe parts of these bios are canon. MKDA's Cyrax Konquest states that right after MK3 was over, Sonya and Jax found him in the desert, giving no mention to 3.

In this unused bio, it says the same thing.

In the MKG Cyrax ending (which we all know is canon), Cyrax mentions "after my battle with Shinnok". Now nowhere in his bio does it state he helped fight Shinnok, just that he was out doing missions for the Lin Kuei. In the unusued bio, it says that Cyrax was reprogrammed to help fight them. During the entire thing was he able to recollect some memories.

Plus in the MK Deception krypt, one of 'em says that the reason Baraka has those staples is cause Kung Lao split his ass.....just like it says in these bios. I dunno, guys, but I think some of these bios are here and there canon despite the ones in the actual game (I'm not saying they ALL are, just some details of some bios). They just make more sense at times, no?

The Cyrax bio has been made canon. I think Cyrax's MK:DA Konquest mentions him being found by Jax and so on.

I remember the thing in Deception mentioning something like "it seems Baraka survived an attack by Kung Lao." So maybe the slice and staple part is canon.
I'll accept that, but I'd like to avoid yet another resurrection if possible.

But I think it's safe to say Kitana's....that mentions Sindel and every other person in Edenia dying...is non-canon. I think the unused Mileena one is still non-canon since it doesn't really add anything. I think the one in the game...where she allows Kitana to escape the dungeons...is better anyway.

And Kung Lao's is pretty much the same except this one doesn't mention him letting people think he was dead...so it doesn't really matter that much.

Yeah, I like Baraka surviving as well. Plus his ending in MKG, even though non-canon, alludes to the in-game bio being canon as well. So, cool.

Now if only someone can get me the Motaro bio......maybe Kintaro's MKA bio will reveal what happened (In fight Night, Ed boon said they'd put them up on the forums sometime soon).

I love it when memebers think they know everything and turn out to be clueless.
Anyway, as much as I like Cyrax's now canon MKG biography, it completly destroys Sektor's MKG bio, which means that he didn't really have any purpose in being there, unless one assumes it was just to kill Cyrax thanks to his leaving the clan... It shows how when they make too many story changes, characters end up being shafted in the process.

He wasn't asking about the CANON biographies, he was asking about the UNUSED ones, the ones that were discarded and never seen in the public except for in that magazine that Xiahou posted pictures of, which are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. This is not a debate about the canon, but a question concerning what wasn't used. If you actually understood what he was asking, you wouldn't have posted your rude comment and actually did some research about the MK storyline. You are still lost and still have no clue what the heck is going on, so give up while you are behind.

From his ending (even the ones that aren't canon still hold some truth to them) and to what his actual story is in the game, I'd definitely say that Sektor's goal in MK4 was searching for Cyrax, and then depending on what he finds......wacking him.

There's one faq in Gamefaqs that uses those unused bios, and here's what is written in Sektor's:

Recovered by Lin Kuei, Sektor has a new set of instructions, this time around he
is designed to seek and destroy Cyrax. After Lin Kuei discovered that Cyrax
Malfunctioned.

The faq is the 2nd one (done by RedDemon) in descending order. Still, I don't know how much reliable this is. Sure, he has Mileena, Baraka and Cyrax's unused bios (oddly enough, neither Kitana nor Kung Lao's ones are there), but he also has some strange ending descriptions, specially with the Shaolin Monks: Liu Kang's ending, according to that faq, shows him blasting both Quan and Shinnok. Kung Lao leaves me wondering, since he explains the ending is in a shaolin temple, people walking around and all that. No mention of Kitana or the peace treaty...he either saw a demo/unfinished game or just is lying...

Now that that's off, this bio does fit nicely with Cyrax's unused one and his ending (blasting the OIA), so maybe...

And yes, I too agree Cyrax's unused bio has been took over his final produced one. A mistake? Overlooking? It was a better choice?...God knows.

jerrod:as you said the unused bios aren't accepted by midway bt are just in some magazines or strategy guides.
I know that he don't refer to canonical bios,but if you don't know the current game bios are based(or viceversa ) on unused ones.
So something of unused bios is survive in canonical bios.
I really doubt that you'll find a link on the net that contains unused bios(i try on google,but nada...but i don't mean that isn't possible find them,but it's very hard),you can read them only on that magazines.
You have to know that in MK3 where originally bios for Motaro(completely different) Johnny Cage(it's very strange,he missed MK3,but originally he should be there) and other character like baraka(same as Johnny Cage).
Midway open a true hunt to fake bios online and maybe unused bios where deleted(or however are very rare to find).
So if you want to know what the MKGold unused bios says,.see the regular bios.
If you want know the unused bios of MK3 get ready to spend hours on the net.
