Hey guys Im trying to collect all the classic disk games of mK, and so far I have MK trilogy, MK4, and mkv( I know its not a classic, but it will be in the future)
Now my question is, should I collect special forces jax, and mythologies subzero? (since they are disks). Is it worth it to have it on a collection? Someone with some expertise can help me out with this. Thanks.
Part 2 of my question is I do not collect carltriges, so do you think there will ever be any mk1, 2 or 3 on a disk in the future? thanks.

Well, let me ask YOU a question:
Does it matter if the "disk" is for a specific console or PC or are you simply attempting to OWN the disk versions of the MK games? 'Cause if you are, then all games are available on a disk version. Here are the ones that I'm aware of, though there MIGHT be more:
MK1 = Sega CD (featuring the infamous Rape Code!!
MK2 = Saturn (I guess on PC also)
MK3 = PS1 (I guess on PC also)
Finally, concerning the other two games (Mythologies and Special Forces), if you're looking to own the ENTIRE series of the MK games, I say you should get them.

hm i never knew the previous mk 1 2 or 3 were on pc. I will not get any game on a saturn since I cant use it, because I dont own a Saturn. But PC would be fine. No, I dont object anything on PC.
OK I just might get special forces and mythologies, if it will complete my collection. Thanks

MK2 is also on PS, but you'll have a better chance of playing in the Superbowl, then getting a copy of MK2 on the PS

They actually made a compilation of MK1 and MK2 on a single CD a while back. Originally MK1 was on Floppy Disks, and MK2 probably was as well. But getting the two together would decapitate two birds with one flying hat.

yeah but I heard some terrible things about special forces and mythologies. Thats the only thing that I can think off that would stop me from getting the game.

Sega cd-MK1
Sega Saturn-MK2,UMK3
Playstation one-MK2,MK3,MK4(note on mk2 From what I heard the psone has the arcade graphics but it's missing alot of sound effects there is no announcer so it's alot like the Saturn version)
PC-MK1,MK2,MK3,MK4.
I would wait though because the MK Kollection maybe on the way.

I hate to disagree with you, but I find it very hard to believe that there is a ps1 disk of mk2. And I find it even harder that I will ever get one.

U don't have to believe it, but it is true. There is a PS1 MK2 disc, and it is very hard to find. But it's out there.

mk2 is available on the ps2, but only in japan. if youre lucky, you might be able to order directly from the site or maybe find one on ebay.

I would get all the games I could except for special forces because it blows and they made all but MK 1 for disc, you can find 2 on psx if you go to the game places with all the old games.
