Conversion glitches

Long ago , i've noticed some glitches (more like differences)between the arcade version of MK2 and the PC converted version by PROBE. Even though i didn't pay attention to them because i seem to own a cracked version of MK2 for DOS , here they are :
What happens in the PC version:
- Uppercuts and roundhouse kicks don't do nearly as much damage as they do in the arcade version.
- Jade doesn't appear behind the trees on the living forest stage.
- Jade and Smoke NEVER appear at the start of battles when they were supposed to give hints about revealing them.
- Reptile's and Scorpion's moving animations only act normal before the actual match begins , after witch are changed with Sub-Zerio's anims(both moving and standing stances).
I don't think that the game being cracked has anything to do with it , but i'll ask anyway.

All of that is probably due to the fact that MK2 for PC was terrible in countless ways.

PS : the floor in the armory doesn't move during Reptile's head-eating fatality.
Anyway ... i do think that Midway should consider converting MKDA for PC because of the huge number of PC possesors over the lower number of home console systems.

Some people seem to think that MK2 for PC is the best home port ever made. If that is true, that is really sad. I for one have played it, and it was bad, even for a home PC port.

Well, if you're a graphics boy, of course you're not going to think the PC version was one of the better ports. And that's sad. It's one of the best ports in my opinion because of the gameplay and sound effects. Music and graphics aside, it had the closest feel to the arcade. The PSX and Saturn versions had loose gameplay, missing samples, loading time, etc. The PC version seemed pretty complete when it came to gameplay, SFX, and no loading time with Tsung's morphs. Can't beat that.
