Ed Boon said it him self...he is trying to make this generation of the MK franchise as different from the past as possible, making it fresh (exageration of what he really said but basicly the same thing). I can understand why some of the moves where taken out do to the fact that side steping is so important in this game...some of the old moves would be pointless. Bottom line however, Cyrax's net should have been in there if his grenades where, where the hell is Cage's nut crunch. There where alot of things that didn't make it in due to time restriants also. But I see mk6 having the stuff we missed.

I thought the net looked crappy in gold... in 3-d it might be hard to pull off so they might of took it out because they couldn't figure out how to put it in and make it look good...

Yeah, I was kind of pissed off when I found out Cyrax didn't have a net. I tried to do it, by just pressing buttons for 10 mins, but nothing. I even checked the moves list when I paused it and nothing. Then I finally went online and it was confirmed that his net was taken out of the game. I would have also liked to see a fatality using the net. I miss Sub-Zero's ice shower and his slide. Reptile's paralyzer ball was also taken out, which I also miss.

The fatalities weren't on the moves list either, so I thought maybe each character had a secret move. Oh well, heh, I just got the game when I did that.
