I am sorry if this has already been discussed . . . what is the difference between the ps2 version and the gamecube version of MKDA? I have had the ps2 version, but I recently got a gamecube, and am wondering if I should pickup the gamecube version. Any advice would be appreciated.

First of all. The gamecube's disc is smaller...

No, I don't think there really is that much of a difference. I think they are exactly the same only on a different console. The only real difference that I noticed is that the gamecube loads a little faster and the graphics are a little better. But other than that it is the same game.

If you are gonna get it just remember that you will have to get used to the smaller D-pad. It really sucks sometimes when you try to do a fatality when you aren't used to it. When you are, this game kicks ass!

I don't know about the price over there though. I've seen the game (GC version) instores over here for 20 euros, which is a nice price if you already have the game on another console. If it is still full price over there (which I don't expect) I would wait.

When a character is frozen by Sub-Zero's freeze, it looks different on the GC version. The PS2 and Xbox have a cool effect, but the GC has a dull freeze.

U don't have to use the C-pad... u can just use the arrows... I HATE to use pads in fighting games... actually.. I hate pads in pretty much any game except Resident Evil...

The loading times are a SHITLOAD faster... and the graphics better too...

Though Sub's Ice may look a little slopier... Scorp's Fire kick looks MUCH better
