Okay, according to MK: Deadly Alliance, Bo' Rai Cho wasn't able to compete against Shang Tsung in the tournament, since he was a native-born Outworlder and any victories of his would count towards those in favor of Shao Kahn. HOWEVER, Shang Tsung's own bio states that he's a native-born Earthrealmer, so wouldn't any of HIS victories in the tournament count towards those in favor of EARTH? Or was our dear Bo' Rai Cho simply confused and drunk?

You forget that Shang Tsung wasn't the one that controlled Earth's fate in Mortal Kombat. Goro did. It was Goro that represented Outworld, and who won the 9 straight tournaments. Simply defeating Goro would have been enough to save Earth without having to beat Tsung.
And just where did it say exactly that Tsung was an Earthling? I don't remember any official thing saying exactly that.

It was in Shang Tsung's bio in the original MK bio cards in the official strategy guides. It's also in Tsung's bio on the Annals of Mortal Kombat site. So far, I have yet to see anything in the official game that discredits this info.

But the game not saying it is where you're gonna get called out for it. If the game itself doesn't say it, then people generally won't accept it.
An earthrealmer with a tarkata-demon resembling true look? Thats high for me. Anyways, maybe it's becouse after he has been swallowed by Outworlds and Khans taint, his form began to adapt his evil ways and became reminiscent of his inner self. As Tsung grew more evil, so did his true form grew more and more hideous.
And becouse the final battle depended on his victory, yes, Earth would have won, but becouse every mortal holds his own fate in his own hands, his destiny would have been to unbalance the furies, and despite all of Raidens efforts, Earth would have opened itself up for Khans forces.

Or, maybe its because Outworld didn't exist in the first MK and it was a battle to unbalance the furies and Goro hadn't won 9 times before that or anything. Anything written before MK2 cam out probably will be very shallow as far as storyline goes.

Well I had always been under the same impression Synjo was, that Shang was originaly from Earth. It said so in MK Conquest and MK: The Journey Begins, which are both obviously not canon...
However TPB, since you are looking for canon proof - the best I've seen is actualy from Midway's MK: Mythologies website, here's the link and the proof:
MKM:SZ
Click on 'The Story' then go to 'Enter the Outworld' and it's in the first paragraph. If their own website isn't proof enough, I dunno what is
