Now lets fast forward to the present time. Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance has been out for some time now and it offers features that the previous ones didn't.
*You can implale weapons into your enemy.
*Three unique fighting styles per fighter.
*New broard characters such as oni and vampires.
*3-D interactive emvironments in some levels.
*Konquest Mode that enables you to learn about your fighter moves and some of their past history.
*A krypt that enables you to use koins you earn to buy various items such as hidden fighters.
Now as of today do you consider MK2 as the best of all MK games or do you think Deadly Alliance is superior of them all.

Mortal Kombat has always been a game that had to beat out all of the odds no matter what. Mortal Kombat 2 was considered as the best MK game through MK1-4 series.

I do consider MK: DA the best MK game out. Mostly because the great new fighting engine, cool fighting styles, good plots, good story, Frost*, good graphics, and good new controls. Its a great game to me , because of that I think MK: D will be far better, since the MK team is going all out with MK: D. Me myself I don't consider MK2 my fav of the 2-D MK games, now I am not saying it is bad I just love MK3 so much better. To me the combos speed up gameplay and overall the game was better as a whole when compared to MK2, but that is just my POV. To me overall the MK games mostly have gotton better with each one the MK team puts out, I hope it stays this way for years to come.

As a loooong time MK fan, I can honestly say...FUK YA!! At first, I was a little intimidated with it considering all the fighting styles and weapon possibilities, but once I got the hang of it I was blown away by how huge it really is.
This game finally beats out MK2 in my book.
