I sure miss John Turk, Brian Glynn, Richard Divizio, Anthony Marquez, and John Parrish so much.

John Turk who played character Sub-Zero and Shang Tsung in MK3. He also played all ninja characters - Reptile, Scorpion, Rain, Human Smoke, Classic Sub-Zero, Ermac, Chameleon, and Noob Saibot in UMK3/MKT. He's only very perfect for Sub-Zero in MKM. I think he is a friend of John Tobias, he respect Tobias when he left. I just saw a few episodes of television series "Prison Break", the man who helped him escape. I recognized him...I was like, "Is that John Turk from Sub-Zero? It's him!" Wow, he is a good actor. But Prison Break is not one of my favorite.

Brian Glynn was the best known for playing as Shao Kahn. He also played another character as the Water God, and as a hulk monk in MK Mythologies. Actress Lia Montelongo had a seriously relationship with Brian, but sadly, It was over for them in 2001. They were cute couple together. I saw the picture of Lia sat on his lap in behind the scene of Mortal Kombat 3 from EGM in April, 1995. I really wish they can get married. I hope they can be just friends.

Kung Lao played the original Anthony Marquez. he also made appearance in MK Mythologies as the God of Wind (Fujin) and as Monk 2. He was awesome as Fujin. How did they tape him, who played Fujin, jump in the air for capture footage into a personal computer in MKM? Marquez was one of several MK actors who really got into mindset of their characters. He really became Kung Lao. Most of the things he studied have been like Northern Shaolin styles. In MK3 Official Kollector's Book, it says, "One part of Marquez's performance actually involves taking off his hat and throwing it at Rich (Kano) Divizio just like Kung Lao's move in the game." He has a wife and son. Marquez's son sounds like he's well on the way toward becoming Kung Lao, Jr. Lol.

Richard who played the treacherous Kano, the mutant Baraka, the enigmatic Kabal, and Quan Chi. He was the only actor played different characters in MK games. He shaved his head to play Kano and several monks, who was going to be a traditional bold monk in MK3 and MKM. Tony Marquez did actually hit him in the lip at ACME. He said, "I'm still stuffering from a busted lip ... but you know, I keep going The crowd loves it." from MK3 Official Kollector's Book.

John Parrish, the actor who played MK's Jax. He has engaged in rigorous martial arts train and worked out for years and know some guys who make video games. Parrish is probably the most accustomed to seeing himself on screeen. "It's not weird at all. I've been around entertainment for over 25 years. When I was younger, I used to dance a lot, and was in martial arts competitions - so I was always on TV in some kind of way. When I was a kid, the first time I saw myself on TV, it was like, 'Oh, that's me on TV! Oh, I'm on the news!' When I got older it was like, 'Wow. That's what l look like on TV. Makes me look big.' I was on the Jerry Spring Show twice [as an exotic dancer] ... I got sick of them calling me. But otherwise, that's about it. My father used to play with The Whispers up until he died three years ago, so I was around stars and musicians all the time." He's a cool man as Jax. Some women think he is an attractive man. I saw the trading card with Jax in MKD and MKA, he could flip backward...how did he do that? Lol. He has wife and the kids.

Huh? Am I wrong? Okay, I will fix it. Did Lia play as Kitana in MK4? No. I think she has the same voice both of Tanya and Kitana in ending movie. Kitana had a hidden code to play version of MK4 for Playstation, GameShark only.

You're correct, John Turk factually indeed played ALL the ninja's and Shang Tsung. Cyber ninjas played by Sal Divita as well as NightWolf.

And yeah Gameshark is a cheat device that allows hacks, cheats to play characters that normally aren't available for the PS versions.

Similar situation with MKU for PSP where you can play as Onaga, Noob and Smoke separately and some other cheats etc

I long, occasionally, for the digital sprites from days of old. Not entirely sure why, and it's not to say I don't appreciate the current generation of artistry that's going into the series. But the sprites were what held my attention in the beginning - The level of realism slammed with the sense of high fantasy created a nice little web.

But, yeah, I miss Katalin Zamiar for some reason. I wasn't fond of Becky Gable's portrayals.

And Lia was great - She had a good sense of humor, too.

John Turk was hot, he should come back.
