1. I do believe they are the same characters, almost positive, im pretty sure.
2. I never read any backrounds on them myself.
3. I don't know too much about meat. I think he was in the nintendo 64 version of trilogy maybe?? I have the ps version, not 64.
4. Pretty sure those are the only moves smoke has, spear teleport. At least i dont think ive ever found any others for him.
5. I would definately love to see smoke back in MK6, bein that his past life when he was a human exists only as a memory now, he's gotta be REALLY pist off about that, n he'd really wanna take names in 6. 1) No they are not the same character. The N64 had a female version of the character that cycles through the female ninja's the PSX and Sega Saturn had a male version of the character which cycles through the male ninjas.
2) Chameleon on the PSX and Sega Saturn had no story. Khameleon on the N64 did ... and here it is;

Reptile was once thought to be the last member of an extinct race of reptilian creatures, until the appearance of Khameleon- she alone knows the truth about their history and chooses to fight on the side of Earth, making the last survivors of their race lethal enemies.

Ending:

Khameleon's former race were known as Raptors. They evolved millions of years ago on Earth into intelligent creatures, but fled the realm when it was destroyed in a battle between the Gods. They repopulated a new realm known as Zaterra, only to be driven to extinction by Shao Khan when they lost to Outworld in Mortal Kombat. With Shao Khan near victory against Earth, Khameleon contacts Reptile and shares the truth about their race with him. This turns him against Khan, allowing Khameleon to lead a sneak attack against the Emporer. 3) Meat was just a skin for the characters...he/she has no story.
4) Classic or Ninja Smoke doesn't have any of his own moves but he does have some of his own combos.
5) I wouldn't mind seeing Smoke in MK6...but I would rather see him in Robot form.

No they're not the same character. They have different plot lines. To my knowledge there is no indication otherwise. As for Meat he was in both versions of MK4. He was just whatever character you selected but no skin or clothes- just "flesh" If you were Scropion you would play exactly like Scorpion just with the Meat "skin". Cyber Smoke could teleport punch, air throw (slam really), harpoon, and invisibilatise(I know!) himself.

1)No, Chameleon has all male ninja powers and Khameleon has all femal ninja powers.
2)I don't theink neither of them do.
3)Meat is weird. He can be anybody. Hes like Charade from SC2.
4)Human Smoke has his own Brutality.
5)I think that will be kind of a good idea

When you fight against him after you defeat Shao Kahn it says "You have earned the right to face one of Shao Kahn's deadliest warriors." or something like that hehe.

I read in the kombat Temple that he was also a Zaterrian.... and wanted to mate with Khameleon.... but he died in the tournament so she went on looking for reptile

Well that's something that the Temple made up then, for fun.

The only 2 true raptors left are Reptile and Khameleon.
