Yeah, this is in the wrong forum and should be in the Classic MK games discussion. To answer your question, yes, Scorpion's MK4 ending is canon since his MKDA storyline confirms it.

I apologize about posting it here, but I just assumed that since MKSM was coming out soon that this is the most "active" board to get a response from.

Even though it's pretty dead at times.

Exactly, thats what happened in Scorpion's MK4 ending.

Scorpion was standing over Sub-Zero,(indicating he beat him) they exhanged words about who killed who and was responsible for the death of Scorpion's family.

Then Quan Chi showed up and admitted that HE was the one who killed Scorpion's family.

He then tried to send Scorpion to the netherrealm, but just before he was transported, he charged at Quan Chi and took him as well.

Thats how MKDA kicked off, with Quan Chi escaping from Scorpion in the netherrealm.

Yes the ending is true:

Scorpion take Quan Chi with him to the Netherealm. In MKDA you see Quan Chi escape from the Netherealm. So the Ending was cannon
