Ah, poor devolving reptile. In MK2, you thought, man, that guy's got himself set, look at his ending, isn't that nice? He gets to go off and save his people and it doesn't even break continuity badly. Then, in the original MK3, he doesn't show up, and you're thinking, man, that guy was cool, and now he's gone. Then a whole bunch of people wanted him back. So they brought him back, and things wen't downhill for the poor bastard from there.
He never found Khameleon (if she was even real), and his species died out (or he couldn't find the last one). Then you figure he's a desperate man with nothing to lose. No, then he starts devolving and gets made into the Onaga's avatar/bitch.

Almost as sad as Smoke, really. Poor lizard-guy.
