For fatalities that have up in them. For example down down up down (cyrax). Do you always hold block?

lol, but for the question at hand no you don't hold block.

It's recommended to hold BLOCK for when you do the UP motion your character doesn't jump,but other than that it's not something so special.

No, we don't. Sometimes we start the combination in the air or do it so fast that the character don't have the time to jump wink
