MK1 and MK2 are simple games. MK2 boils down to (Mileena or Jax) vs (Mileena or Jax). There is very little to it.

UMK3 is a deep fighter that takes a lot of getting used to. It's balanced with a huge number of characters playable even in high level play, and the high level play is extremely varried and a lot of fun.

That's why UMK3 is the only MK game with legitimately good gameplay.

I am not sure what the point was of mentioning that. Projectiles work the same way in MKII, Liu Kang's animtation start up happens to extend further in UMK3 before it leaves his hand than most, Sub's freeze is similar.

I was honestly skeptical when I first heard about MK2 showing up on the PS3' Network w/ online play. Great if it does have online play, but I bet in the next 6-8 months well see it released on Xbox Live, and we'll most likely see UMK3 show up on the PS3 network as well, so it's kind of pointless to just buy a PS3 for MK2. I personally preffer UMK3 to MK2 anyway.

To the PS3 fanboys in here addressing me well, for all the hype the great PS3 received it didn't deliver.To deny this at this point is kind of silly don't you think?

They're arrogant to automatically think it'll come out on top again just because PS2 did well....it has the most ridiculous pricetag I've ever seen in my life as far as a console and most agree to that.

The blu-ray tech is nothing more then a gimmick to get people to go "OMG, OMG it has...blu-ray I gotta got get it"

What good games are there for the PS3 currently?I mean awesome games?The wii and 360 have quite a few, or to be fair since the 360 had a year head start the wii has much better games for it then the PS3 does.

I've played all three and PS3 is crap if you ask me, it's not immature..it's my view.Just because some of you guys, the ones directed at me I mean are Sony fanboys doesn't change anything.

Most people feel PS3 sucks right now, or to put it lightly isn't doing well compared to the other two.

BTW, MK:A has good gameplay the best in the 3D MK's by far so far.To the guy that said UMk3 is the only good gameplay MK game.Even MK2 is pretty good, not saying they're perfect but no game is perfect.As long as the game is playable that's all that should matter.

i beg to differ on the fact that ps3 wont make it. you have to think the way the japanese think and that is in the long term of things. the whole world really is out there last count 6.7 billion i think theres plenty of room for ps3 to grow not that i care about it but, i mostly care about mk2 if it comes out on ps3 and theres only a 1million copies of ps3 the game can only grow if anything. ps2 people will soon convert over its just a matter of money and time. MK2 the best game out of the series going on the best advanced gaming system in the world its only fiting they meet. if it makes it great, if it does'nt, im not gonna lose any sleep over it.

I usually enjoy any console that has a good game on it, so it's beyond me why some try to make something out of nothing. I have a friend that has a 360, and a cousin that has a Wii, and I have a PS3. Last I knew, each system has at least one good game and have many more coming out for it.

I, unlike some others, have the benefit of getting a 360, or a Wii fix by playing my friend or cousins consoles. If they want to play my PS3, they know they can come over to play it.

Other than that, I'm just intrigued by why some people feel the need to lash out at something they'll never own, or even the company that produces it.

I mean, video gaming... it's serious, SERIOUS business if you didn't know.

If PS3 becomes incredibly over rated it'll be a perfect match for MKII.

I would not say its overrated, the fans of MK2 actually have good reasons of loving it, halo 2 however is extremely overrated (even though I like it) its not the GREATEST game on the x-box but it is fun to play.
