Greatest Fatalities thread

name your 10 favorite fatalites..plus reasons why they are your favs.:

01.Kung Lao's Split In Half Fatality (Mortal Kombat 2): I remember losing against a big Kung Lao fan when I was 9. When the screen turned black I didn't know what to expect. What I got was more then I bargained for. Definitely the most unique fatality in mortal Kombat. I've been dying to see it make a come back for years.

02.Sub-Zero's Head and Spine Rip: This is a classic, the old predator move. It tops many peoples list, and is pretty close to topping mine.

03.Scorpion's Toasty- I'm really hoping this fatality makes a glorious come back in Deception. The last time we saw this move, it was pretty lame (Mortal Kombat 4). Hopefully it will regain it's glory.

04.Kitana's Kiss of Death-The first of many "Exploding" moves as I like to call them. No wonder Liu Kang refused to marry Kitana; he'd be dead on their wedding night.

05.Liu Kang's Dragon Fatality (MK2): Imagine my surprise the first day of playing Mortal Kombat 2. I was expecting Liu Kang having the whimpy cartwheel kick/ uppercut fatality; instead he turned into a 12 foot tall dragon and bit Baraka in half. Fatality indeed.
06.Quan Chi's Leg Rip (MK 4): Just when I thought the Team's creative juices had dryed up, I saw this fatality. It's arguably one of the sickest in the game (what other fatality involves beating someone with a severed limb?)
07.Shang Tsung's Soul Steal (MK2)- Definitely one of those classic, character defining fatalities. Hopefully it will return to it's glory, and not be a half assed rehash like it was in MK:DA.

08.Kano's Heart Rip (MK1)-One part of MK 1's unholy trinity of fatalities, and one of the easiest fatalities to perform. Lost some of it's splendor over time, but when the game came out, it was one of the best in the game.

09.Reptile's Headsnack (MK2): This fatality wasn't particularly unique; just another decapitation. However, the fact that he actually consumed the head (complete with the chomping noise) was just bizzare, and gross. The way he rubbed his belly at the end was just icing on the cake.

10.Sektor's Trash Compactor (MK3)-The only truly classic fatality in Mortal Kombat 3; The trash compactor was the first fatality I saw in MK3, and I wish the others were as good.

Baraka's Impalation Fatality
Reptile's Acid fatality

1o Sonya's Kiss of death:

In every Mk game it was always imrpoved, I love it!

2o Kung laos slice:

Deadly.

3o Sonyas leg grab:

Awesome fatality! Ever since Mk2 I wanted to see something like that.

4o Johnny Cage MKDA fatality:

Wicked!

5o Sindel:

Bezou's Top Ten Favourite Fatalities

10) Kenshi's Telekinesis Fatality (MKDA)

The most "twisted" Fatality to date.

9) Johnny Cage's Triple Head Decapitation (MKII)

Glitch, programming error, easter egg. Call it what you will, this one's a keeper.

8) Frozen Dead Pool Fatality (MKII)

First half of Sub Zero's two part Fatality combined with the Dead Pool Fatality was always a neat trick.

7) Scorpion's Skull Rip (MKDA)

People have fantasized about this Fatality for years and it finally become a reality in MKDA

6) Frost's Frozen Kick (MKDA)

A new Fatality done right. One of the best ever.

5) Smoke's Armageddon (MK3)

Oh my God, I blew up the world!

4) Kung Lao's Slice (MKII)

This was one of the best Fatalities ever, made even better by how lame his MK3 spin one was. Nothing like splitting your opponent in two.

3) Quan Chi's Leg Rip (MK4)

When Quan Chi says he's gonna rip off your leg and beat you to death with it, you'd better listen.

2) Sub Zero's Spine Rip (MKI)

The best of the original Fatalities. Would be number one if I hadn't been soured on it by the LAME censored version in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.

1) Shang Tsung's Kintaro Morph (MKII)

It lost some of its lustre in the home versions, but in the arcade there was nothing in the world better than unleashing this bad boy on some unsuspecting victim.

1) MKII Kung Lao Hat Slicer=The first time I'd say
that the MK games finally had something a
little different. Splitting an opponent down
the middle.
2) MK Triloggy for CD versions MKII Jax, or MK1
Raiden. After you either crush the head, or
explode it, there is a ton of blood.
3) MK4 Quan Chi's Leg Rip=I like this one because
it is kind of humorus.
4) MKDA Quan Chi's Neck Stretch=See #3 for explain
5) Classic Sub-Zero's Chriopractor's Nightmare=
It was the coolest MK1 Fatality seeing a guy
get his head ripped off with the spine still
attached. Gruesome.
6) MKII Reptile's Skull Snack=It was funny hearing
Reptile say "Mmmm!"
7) MKT/MKII Baraka's Blade Impaler=It was pretty
cool seeing someone slide down the blades to a
slower death. Plus the rumors of the double
Fatality that you could cut off their head, and
then impale them.
8) MKII Mileena's Sia Stabber=The sound effects
and brutalness were cool
9) MKII Kintaro's Fatality=Done only by Shang
Tsung as an extra Fatality, we see what would
happen if Kintaro had his own Fatality by
seeing Tsung morph into him, and punch off the
opponent's torso.
10) The Pit II=My favorite Pit of all times. The
way it cuts from a 2D to a 3D Bird's eye
view fall was pretty cool.
