HAHA Just tried something out with the MAT2 cd, and the MK1 cd, check this out!!

You can still play the games even after you take out the disc outta your ps2, There is NO music and the sound effects are cut somewhat short (mk1 seems to beable to keep all vocal effects and fighting, no music though, were as the MAT's mk2 and mk3 seem to cut short abit on vocals and sounds effects), but all the graphics, moves and everything else seem to stay intact and you can play as long as you want agianst the comptuer or friends without the cd running or even in the machine, I know, cheesy, but still, I thought it was neat.... sorry if this has been brought up before.

Try putting in a music CD while you are playing, it will probably play tracks off of that as the background music.
This also works with Trilogy.

One thing I don't get is how they say you can put in a music CD. That has never worked for me, with any game that you can allegedly do that with.
