Yeah , I have. Test you might is easy if you know to use your fingers in right way. For example. I have the Gamecube version of the game( i am sure there is a finger way to do this on Xbox and PS2 versions as well), I use my 1st finger on the B button, my middle finger on the A and Y buttons,a nd my 3rd finger on the X button. I put my controller in my lap and mash them very fast. With this method I rarely fail any test you might on any object.

Thats the same thing with me and my brother. Somwtimes i notice that sometimes when i press R (Gamecube version), The green bar in the meter kind of jolted up right before my character broke the object.m Can someone tell me why that happens and if so, how can i know when it will happen?

I did. I use my thumbs to press all four buttons on the ps2 controller and then use one of my other fingers to press the R button.
Does anyone find breaking diamond on mkda harder than mk1? I sure do.

I have broken the diamond countless times. I don't know why people find it rather hard to break diamond. It's really easy. All I do is use my thumb to press all the 4 buttons in my PS2 and press the R2 button and the rest is history. My record for breaking the diamond still stays at an amazing 2 seconds flat and thats no b/s.

Yea, a few times. Nearly destroyed my controller.

Word. I do it by pressing all 4 buttons together on my GC controller. I buggered up my B button by doing it. I have a thumb injury which prevents me from doing it better than most people, so that's my excuse.

Lol, I just cheat. I have an old Mad Catz controller that is compatible with my PS2 and I just simply put the x, Square, Triangle, and O buttons on turbo, and presto instant test your might victory.
Ah, I'm just too lazy to do it the mashing way. :-p

I just slide my middle-finger's knuckle back and forth across the button. Been doing that since MK1 on SNES. It's very easy ,but A:It hurts at first ,and B:You gotta be quick.

I use a AA battery by rolling it back and forth over the buttons. Now I make a point of NOT breaking the Diamond so I can get more koins by breaking the previous material (been a while, can't really remember what that material was) every other time rather than go up the scale again.

I do the same thing. I have never lost at a Test your Might.

This refers to Xbox controller. For the longest time I could not figure out while the chop would just happen out of thin air while I was mashing buttons. Bascially I would be failing, but I was never pushing it long enough to get get the level up.
Since the block button (right trigger) is used to "chop", the button would hit my leg while I was mashing with whatever.
Took me awhile to figure it out. What a big DUH!!!

I break it by rubbing the controller buttons. It's really easy when you do that.
I used to use a battery but it wrecked my ps2 control.
