I disagree. I'll grant Meat and Chameleon were stupid joke characters. However Reiko, Rain, Kai, Jarek, and Khameleon are just poorly developed.

IMO, Shujinko's irredeemable.

To me all of the new characters in Deception to me are bland. Ashrah has a pretty good storyline. I would like to see her story expanded.

Forget the konquest kontent, much of it is not supposed to be taken canon
and thus, you can have a fairly developed character.

Despite the jokes Rain, Reiko are irredemable. Rain is 100% that, becouse most of his pulling power comes from his specials, other than that, nothing stands for him. Crappy storyline, plot design, everything.

People have to admit that he is only liked becouse he is just another sprite duplicate excuse for a character. Reiko can be redeemed, it would however take enormous efforts to compensate his unoriginality.

Anyone introduced in MKDA, Cyrax, Quan Chi and Dark Raiden. Only Nitara and Li Mei were decent Newbies in MKDA.

I think that kenshi and Bo' Rai Cho was a good and much needed blood transfusion for the series. The act cool, look cool chaacter scheme was getting on my nerves. Drahmin was interesting, and hsu Hao was the perfect filler for being killed off. A good example for how to create good temporary characters. Frost is returning, I can feel it.

Shujinko- Good idea gone horribly wrong. Made worse by MKD forcing him down our throats. Should never be the hero, and needs his own moves IF we really have to have him return.

Kobra- Boring filler who makes Hsu Hao and Jarek look interesting. A recoloured Ken Masters, very creative Midway.

Bo Rai Cho- I like the idea of a fat, elderly fighter. But the puking, farting and attempts to make him funny don't work, and kill off any potential coolness.

Reiko- Last minute filler, and it shows. Has nothing going for him other than the old Kahn/Reiko controversy. One of the only characters Midway staff have openly said they didn't like.

Tanya- The most pointless comeback of all. Originally just a quick replacement for Kitana, unlike other MKD comebacks, Tanya failed to evolve into anything worthwhile.

I hate Stryker a lot. I don't know why but I do.

All the new characters from mk4 and up.

I hate Kurtis Stryker, Onaga to some extent, Tanya, and Shinnok for not having his own original moveset. Midway was lazy when they made Shinnok's moves. I understand he is a god and could mimic the abilities of his opponents, but damn at least give him his own projectile or some of the attacks he had in MKSM.

Bo Rai Cho (to immature), zombie kang (one reason why I am hating the MK story right now. Let him die, and let kung lao replace him), and any new character fom MKD (Havik is ok, I can definitly see some bigger for him in the next game (as long as they don't go by gamecube stories)).
