Hmmm... not to sound condescending but do you use block? So far I've finished the game on all difficulties up to hard and I had no *real* troubles with most enemies except Moloch (I really hate Moloch... you just have to keep pounding into his body mass until he dies and hope you're lucky enough to avoid his stupid moves... bleh).

And this was all before I learnt how to use reversals or used sidesteps a lot (haven't played 1P games since)... So blocking should make you leap a far end...

One word for Moloch.......reversal.

But yeah, as VainQueur said, especially with 1 player mode, just abuse blocking like crazy, don't always hold it as occasionally the computer will come in with a low attack (Sonya anyone??? ), just make sure you block, and as they recover, hit them. Simple as that, especially on max.
