HELP WITH FATALITIES !!!

S_N987 here, eh ?

I REALLY need some help with the Fatalities !!!
I only managed to use Scorpion's Fatality once !!!
I absolutely have to know the correct way to do a Fatality !!!

OK, Scorpion's "Spear Decapitation" is:
Back, Back, Down, Back + 4
I switched to "Fatality" stance.
I put some distance between me and the enemy.
I inputted the button combintion perfectly.
THE FREAKIN' THING WON'T WORK !!!

What am I supposed to do ?

Am I supposed to hold the last button of the combination ?
Am I supposed to press the 2 last commands
(Back + 4)
SIMULTANIOUSLY ?
Is it supposed to be VERY QUICK ?

Tell me ! TELL ME !

Please give me some pointers, people !
You're my only hope !

Ummm... switch to the Fatality Stance and input the proper button sequence and it should work fine. At least it did for me.

Dude, if you can pull off special moves during a match, you should have no problem performing a fatality. Make sure that the blood level isn't turned off. I know it's a dumb suggestion, but these fatalities are the easiest ones I've ever seen in an MK game to pull off. I just can't believe someone wouldn't be able to perform them.

Sometimes the side your character is on determines witch direction you input into the fatality combination. For example, Scorpion's is (back, back, down, back, + 4), well you start out on the left side (if you're using the first controller), but whe you get on the other side, the fatality combination is (forward, forward, down, forward, + 4.)

That's just how it works with me anyway.

and you dont need the fatality stance, its just makes it so you don jump around...not required though.

Hmm... I don't know what to tell you here. To me, the fatalities in MK:DA are the easiest to do then any fatality in any of the recent MK games. I have no trouble with it. Maybe your pushing the buttons a little too fast or too slow... confused
Don't input them too fast.
Sometimes the first time I try them doesn't work because I'm always too fast, because it was always fast in the previous MK's.
Then I try again slower and it works.
You don't have to be in fatality stance, but it makes things "easier", just go at a nice steady pace. You can almost go as slow as you want with them.
Just simply don't do it too fast.
