Help with the secret platform in MKM:Sub-Zero

In the Bridge of Immortality level, there is a small platform too high to reach by jumping. It is after the swinging blades after the first robot boss. Now I have tried on an N64 emulator to get up there via the enemy Uppercutting me while jumping straight up. I have save states for the uppercut from both sides of the platform. But no matter how close or far I am from it, Sub-Zero does not grab onto the platform. How do I get up there?

yes, you can get up there. the only way to get up there is by an uppercut (which i said a few months back) if its not grabbing onto the ledge, then maybe your not close enough to it..or since youre playing on an emulator, maybe the games a little buggy. the only thing that is up there is 3 urns.

Maybe it only works on the PlayStation version? Which version did you try, Scropio?
