you all know it: don't deny it.
jax, cage, kitana, kung, sonya all died. ive always wished to find out what order and what arena fatalities they should have used.
when they killed jax, it shud have been at the lung hai temple. the one with the water backgrounds. the deadly alliance should have taken the piss out of the overconfident overused goodygoodys by getting their buddies to finish them
for jax, they shud have gotten kano or hsu hao to f*ck up his arms and then kick him off the boat/arena. this way, he cant move his arms which carry a lot of weight and he sinks to the bottom of the pathetically shallow water. he sees everyone at the surface laughing their arses off as he drowns under his own arm weight. hahahhahahahhaha
other thoughts?

You know, if he's capable of fighting with it, than it must not weight too muc, so jax drowning is pure impossibility. Besides commandos swim with 40 kg backpacks.
Anyway they were all defeated at Shang Tsungs Palace. The intro shows this. Everyone died. The gooygoody gang got banged.

Yeah, but they don't go into any more specifics thans that. Everyone has their own theories of how exactly it happened.
One little side question, out of curiostiy: you do know Kitana used to be evil right?

yeh of course. she's even prooved to be evil at the start of mksm. and if you look at jax's weight, its 350lbs, and is the heaviest person aside from cyrax i think. plus, i think that kano or hsu hao (it would be such a kick in the balls if it were hsu hao that did this), lasered his arms and screwed up his ability to move them. then they kick him and he cannot lift them anymore
hopefully johnny cage who is the biggest mk mistake imo will come up and say some cheesy movie line and try to find a reason why the fate of the world rests on him. then he will quickly and painfully die by some other joke like mokap. cage will jump around like jim carrey acting like an idiot and then trip over mokaps leg and die on the ground. the triip should break mokaps leg as well

I imagined Kung Lao died like this:
(Kung Lao faces down Shang Tsung, the two trade blows then after a while, Kung Lao shouts)
Kung Lao: This is for Liu Kang!
(Kung Lao performs his whirlwind kick, Shang Tsung is at first shocked as an image of Liu Kang performing his Flying Kick appears alongside the Shaolin Monk, but something is wrong, Shang Tsung is smiling, he blocks Kung Laos' attack and hits him with a straight fire attack. Kung Lao is stunned and Shang Tsung approaches him.)
Shang Tsung: Face it Kung Lao, you are no Liu Kang nor are you as good as your ancestor.
(Shang Tsung kicks Kung Lao in a headlock)
Shang Tsung: NOW DIE LIKE YOUR FRIEND DID!
(Shang Tsung snaps Kung Lao's neck)

This is how I think the final battle went down:
According to Bo' Rai Cho's Deception bio, after he rescues Li Mei he is chased out of the Palace by a large number of Tarkatans. As he crosses the bridge to escape he sees Raiden leading the heroes to battle, without Sub-Zero because Frost attempted to steal his Medallion.
He wishes them luck and escapes with Li Mei.
Raiden and co. easily tear down the horde of Tarkatans, hence why there are dozens of dead bodies laying all over the place in the intro. They fight their way to the Palace doors, where Raiden calls out the two sorcers to face justice.
The Palace doors open and Quan Chi and Shang Tsung come out to meet the enemies, but they don't come alone. As pointed out in the intro and in Li Mei's ending, they finished reviving the Undefeatable Army. The Undead army pours out of the Palace and quickly surrounds the heroes.
Quan Chi and Shang Tsung demand surrender which is refused. The sorcers then command the Undead army to swarm onto the outnumbered heroes.
During the chaos, Kung Lao and Kitana are singled out by Shang Tsung and Quan Chi. I imagine Kung Lao was still not yet ready to face Tsung and is killed. Quan Chi, powered by Shinnok's Amulet, proves too strong for Kitana and she too is killed.
Meanwhile, Sonya, Johnny Cage, and Jax are are killed by the Undead army, hence why all their bodies are all lying outside the Palace doors in the intro.
Raiden is left alone and faced with two choices: try to fight Quan Chi and Shang Tsung himself in Mortal Kombat or unleash his god essence and destroy everyone. Raiden is reluctant to unleash his essence because he is uncertain if he will survive, but more importantly, it would annhiliate the bodies of the Earth heroes, preventing any chance of them being resurrected.
So he demands the sorcerers face him in Mortal Kombat or everyone dies right there. Quan Chi and Shang Tsung recognize that Raiden isn't bluffing and accept his challenge which leads us into the intro movie.

After they were killed, they were resurrected by the Dragon King and brainwashed into being loyal to him.
It's explained in Jade's bio.

yeh. but everyone knows about the bio's and intro's. this thread is meant to be your own version of something that happened. we know they all died and i want your ideas on how. they cant really be contradicted

Well, if a gang is dead, then go form another one. Just be it properly powerful, not the ones that was killed.

Were they actually 'killed' though??
IMO they were beaten. In Kitana's bio card it says she 'fell' to the Deadly Alliance. I dont see that as dying, I see it as being defeated.
If they did die, why didn't Shang Tsung take their souls. All the 'goodygoodies' are much more powerful than Li Mei, and he took her soul. Doesn't really make much sense to me.
In anycase, they wasted that part of the story. They go and make all the good guys evil.........and with the Exception of Kitana.........never ever mention it. NOne of the endings even indicate they remain bad or done anything bad. The only one mentined is Kitana is Sindel's ending where she is held at bay by Jade.
Such a waste of a good opportunity. Especially where Kitana is concerned. She used to be evil. Her eorst fear would no doubt be to return to her evil ways........they fulfill this fear, and neglect to use it. Shame.

I think Kitana was double teamed by the Deadly Alliance. Regardless, their magic abilities are still much greater than Kitana's fighting abilities.
As they fell. wel, let's say that they all were severely injured beyond hope and were walking the thin line. Some of them may even have died, and then came Onaga, rejuvenated those who he were able to save, and ressurected those who already passed.
Anyway, shang Tsung can't consume all the souls at once, I think he didn't even had the time, since raiden came to their "aid", much likely to avenge them. So I think Shang left the idea of soul feast and decided it would be best to aid Quan Chi before he gets toasted by the Living Generator with the Hat.
I think that they didn't asault the DA at once with their full numbers. Or at least not at the start of the slaughter.
