Before you face the question mark the last warrior must be defeated ONLY with LOW KICKS or moves that have LOW KICKS in them. DO NOT use block or the other buttons. After you win a round using ONLY LOW KICKS you face Jade.

But there is no way you can play as her.

The question mark is before Shang Tsung.

Correct info here... and just to expound a little more:

it only takes one round to access Jade. So even if you use all the buttons in the first round, you can still fight Jade if you stick to LK in the second round. A fun thing to do is pick someone with a finishing moves that uses LK. That way you can win the first round (press a button besides LK or else you'll unlock Jade early). Then for the second round don't touch any button besides LK, win the round, use your LK finisher, then go on and fight Jade. Also note that for fatalities where you hold the button, if you start holding it BEFORE the round starts, it will NOT count as a button press. So for example, you could use Shang Tsung and win the first round... then before round two starts, hold LP... win the second round using only LK... then when it says FINISH HIM, walk up to the opponent, back up a step, and finally release LP. Then WHAM-- Kintaro fatality, and then WHAM-- the big MK explosion and the portal shows up and the organ music plays and you fight Jade. Yes, I get a kick out of doing that.

In the Super NES version there was a way via the game shark and action replay..

I have Midway Arcade Treasures 2 for PS2....in MK2, can I still get Jade with Action Replay or a GameShark tool?

If so, how can I do it??

why use a cheat device if u can already do it in the game? smh. also, in the super nintendo version there was a code that took you directly to jade, left up down down right select and BAM. instant access to jade

I think he's refering to the ability to Play as jade. not fight her. yeah it worked on all the old console versions but from what i hear sence the new versions are just roms there no way to play as hidden warriors.

I was never able to play as Jade on SNES, but I have on the Genesis version(and the Sega 32X rom) via Game Genie code, for the Genesis(if you have the game or rom) the Game Genie code is CCMT-BE76, for the 32X(works on the rom only because the Game Genie will not work on 32X games) its CALT-DE4J, you must be player 2 inorder to play as her, she has Kitana's Fan Throw(F,F,HP+LP) and Wave Punch(F,D,B)(you don't have to press HP), instead of having her fist out, she is squating while flying, and don't trying to the Fan Throw in the air, because she will get stuck and your opponent will have to knock you down, the attempt of the Fan Lift will make Jade walk backwards until hit by the other opponent, and the attempt of trying the Faw Swipe or the use of LK will freeze the game, other than that, she is fuctional, its also makes you wonder that if Boon & Co. had a little more time, could we had been able to finish the hidden characters off like we could Reptile in MK1.

its is simple in any of the matchs(before the "?"match) use the low kick only,at the match before the "?" use the low kick only again after that match the game will tell you that you are going to fight jade a mix between kitana and millena who is twice as fast and three times as strong. in a manner of speaking, your ass is about to be wiped.

Is it possible to beat Jade without cheat code..????

Its very possible and also its matters what version you have, if you have the Genesis version, then you got the best chance of beating her because she will not counter with a standing kick if you try a jump kick on her, she will just stand there during your jump kick on her, but if you have the Sega Saturn,PS1,SNES,or Sega 32X version of MK2(which use the difficulty of the Arcade), I'm sorry but you are in for a fight.

And don't forget, projectiles will go right through her!
