MK1 for game gear didn't have Kano, and everything moved slow. :(

Yeah, the Game Gear took 6 AA batteries, but had long play time, at least mine does. I also got a Battery pack and AV Adapter for longer hours of play time.

I Just use an adapter for my Game Gear to play games. I only have MK1, MK2, and Primal Rage for it tho. I thot MK1 was really good for Game Gear than Gameboy. Despite no kano, it did have Cage. Plus it was in color and had way better fatals. But on the other hand... there was no code to play as Goro in the game gear version!

I have Mortal Kombat 2 on my Game Gear. It's fun, but it's also hard. I have yet to beat it.

You'll get it. It took me awhile, but I beat it, and it was like a breath of relief, because I thought that I'd never beat it.

MK 1 for GB was the best.

It was the only one where Sub Zero's ice ball came from his armpit.

THAT IS SO COOL!

I have MK1 and MK2 for Game Gear.
Also, MKA for GBA

That's as far as my hand-held MK games go confused

You should get MK:TE, it's a really good game. Everyone here agrees on that!

It wasn't THAT bad.....the way Nintendo's policy was at the time, SNES users were lucky to get it at all.

Besides, the SNES MK1 Sub-Zero fatality fit him better IMHO :)
