Sorry if someone else post this already. I just got here. I love playing the classics on the Deception Double Disk and Midway Aracde Classics 2 but I really really wish Midway would rerelease 1, 2, and 3 with online play. I mean that would really being me back to the old arcade days.

Anyone else with me?

I am 100% with you on that. Right now I play them online through glitchy, unofficial means. But I shouldn't discuss that here... if you wanna hear about it just IM me.

But online classic MK would be the best. In the early planning stages of Midway Arcade Treasures 2, I was all excited when I heard there would be XBOX live functionality. Then I found out it was only online SCOREBOARDS. Bah, humbug.

But if they released these games with online capability, I would buy them in a heartbeat. A re-tooled MK Trilogy with online fighting would just be nirvana. I've already bought MKT twice (PC and PS1), and I'd still gladly buy it again full price if they made it online. Welcome to the boards!

Thanks for the welcome!

I am with you. I would pay full price to play those online in a nice classic online classic arcade setting.

Hopefully they will do it

I would pay up to $40 for a redone MKT with online play included. I would also like additional balancing and some other game fixes, basically I want arcade quality graphics, but I'd settle for PSX MKT quality to get it online without any netplay glitchy-ness.

In essense, the PS2 equivalent to Super Mario Allstars.

Juice up everything to it's fullest capacity and then balance out what is unbalanced. I've devised so many ways to make the top tier characters balanced by doing understandable things, in fact, I'm going to make a new thread about it.

You sure about that? I've beaten it before on PS2 and it didn't freeze.

It doesn't "freeze", the screen turns black and the music plays. That's it.

I think it's just fine using Mame, but not enough people use it. More people would play on console online.

I dont use MAME so it would be perfect to have the classics released for online play
