Well I actualy want a complete list too, but for now I'll give you what I know of the top-tier characters (keep in mind I will probably miss some or make a few mistakes, cus I don't know all of em...one's I put in brackets might be top tier)

MK1: Sonya, Johnny Cage

MK2: Kung Lao, Kitana (Shang Tsung??)

MK3: Sub Zero, Kabal, Robo-Smoke, Nightwolf (Cyrax??)

UMK3: H. Smoke, Ermac, Robo-Smoke, Noob Saibot, Rain, Nightwolf (Kung Lao, Jax, Jade, Stryker, Cyrax???)

MK2: Jax, Mileena
MK3: Sub Zero, Kabal, Robo-Smoke, Nightwolf, Jax, Kano, Sindel
UMK3: Kabal, H. Smoke, Ermac, Robo-Smoke, Nightwolf, Kung Lao, Jax, Kano, Reptile

for MK2 I think it depends of which character you face.

I think that Liu Kang and Kitana can be considered like top tier characters as well.(just like Jax and Mileena)

In MK1, people are still arguing on who are the tiers.

It's true, Sonya is the best in MK1. Then Cage, Kano, Raiden, Liu (or Liu, Raiden :))

MK2, I believe that Mileena is better than Jax. After that it is Liu Kang then Kitana. The next four are Kung Lao, Baraka, Cage, Raiden in no particular order...then Shang, Scorp, Sub, Reptile in that order.

MK4 - Tanya, Jarek, Reptile
MKG - Sektor, Kitana, Tanya...

MKDA - Scorp, Bo, Rep...

MKD - Bo (o_O), Dairou, Jade, Liu, Scorp...

In MK4 i think that Sonya and Sub-Zero were pretty good also. Sonya had a lot of useful moves and Sub-zero was a good defensive fighters, are you sure about Reptile Konqrr?


and in MKD I would add Shujinko to that tier list for sure

MKDA - Kung Lao, unless it's been statisticaly proven otherwise I firmly believe he's top-tier.
