You should put something in your topic that we can indentify the thread subject matter by. For instance, if you made the subject "Has anyone here beaten any MK games without losing a match" I would have known not to read it.

Why people are asses because they're good at a simple little video game is beyond me.

I beat MKII in the arcade without continuing. I used the standard "jump back trick," using Shang Tsung so I could morph and do a lot of different Fatalities. I was very proud of myself at the time.

I never did figure out the patters to beat UMK3 back then, but now that I know the patterns I dont' really feel like playing the CPU anyway so it's kinda moot.

I learned the patterns in the 90's but only from watching older players who were probably in their 20's. The first one I saw was mk1 2x jump kick to slide juggle with Sub. The one that opened the floodgates and enabled me to beat umk3 a few months after it came out with everyone was when I saw someone playing as jade do backflip kick, projectile flash, run through projectile, and hammer away. Everyone knows them now, but it was exciting when they were all new.
