if you have mat2 for xbox, then you know there are way less bugs.

the shadows still flicker, but the music sounds good, mk 3 sounds like theres just too much treble, and i noticed the reason the music keeps playing on a fatality. why you ask? since they had to speed the game up a notch to hold framerate, if you do a fatality right after finish him, music will keep playing, if you wait a second, then do it, normal fatality music. works everytime. on my xbox version it works everytime. don't believe me, a sound and video confference with me on msn will show you. i will do it repeatedly to prove its true. if you can't get it to work, ohwell, works for me and i can prove it. anyway, the games are simply less buggy on xbox. but the sound is more clear on gamecube for mk3, though the rest of the bugs are up there with ps2. no music ever cuts out during play on my xbox version. can play for hours on camera and audio to prove that to ya too. do you really need to fight smoke in 2? i dont, it sucks you can't but i now can sit down and play 250 battles and see if pong is really in there. also noob saibot on the way after 50 wins. i have a dedicated mk3 cabinet, with all 3 2d mk's inside, but never have the patients to stand there for hours pressing start trying for pong. no one wants to stand there and fight me 250 battles or more, or else it would be more fun. anyway, xbox has the best emulation of the 3.

I have absolutely no problem with MAT2. I paid a buck for the game I've wanted since I was a kid (MK II)> Unbelievable.
Peace.

no doubt. i'm absolutely satisfied with this title. your right, a buck for mk 2 , the best home version ever seen, is a damn good deal. mk3 is cool, and definately worth a dollar, but mk2 is where its at. we have all had really close ports to mk3 via psx, never a close port to mk 2 except for snes and we all know that it just wasn't arcade like. the sounds, the gameplay, the graphics, sega saturn came close, but had miserable sound, a remixed background music.

Saturn MK II was ridiculous. It actually made a claim on the box that it was even better than the arcade of MK II. I never played MK 3 for playstation or PC, but I remember the arcade version, and MAT 2 is almost good, except for some music issues. Bottom line -- just listen to some music or something when playing, cuz then you don't pay attention to detail, instead you just play a cool game.
Peace.
