That stinks. Maybe your pressing the D-Pad just a little off. I have some trouble with that too.

If there is an "up" in the fatality you can hold block to do it. Just be sure to release it before you hit the last button in the command. Also you really gotta make sure your distance from the character is correct otherwise the fatality won't work.

Longest sentence I've ever seen. Periods are your friends. Anyways, you might just be a little off. fatalities are frusterating sometimes.

If the fatality has UP in it you can hold block the whole time....atleast that's how it was in MK 2. But use block for almost any fatality were the spot counts alot.

maybe its the distance, also in mkt some dist. are changed for example the scorpion toasty fatality is made from more than 1/2 screen.scropion shouldnt be seen.

What fatality are you trying to do?

There's a pretty simple rule in Mortal Kombat.

If you do the combination correctly, it'll work. This applies to special moves, combos and fatalities. Most fatalities also require you to stand at a certain distance from your opponent.

If it doesn't work, you haven't done it correctly. Pretty simple concept really. :)
