I was playing MK1 on ZSNES earlier and I was on a endurance match against Kano and Rayden.I was Scorpion. So when Radien jumped in I caught him with a spear while he came down from the air. Then Uppercutted him, instantly his health went down and he died.Is this a known glitch or is it just a problem with the Rom I have?I tried to do it again but I can't pull it off.Im not lying about this.

I think there is something like that. I haven't played MK1 myself for Genesis( the MK1 version I have) in years. When I think about it I think there was something like that in the game , by using the DULLARD code. When I was a young kid playing MK1 on Genesis . I used to mess around with all those differant things in dullard mode.

Sounds like an interesting glitch. I haven't heard of it before, but so many glitches occur on the MKs for SNES (or anything else really) especially when playing on an emulator that it sounds like one that could happen.
In MK2 for SNES I came across a weird glitch where certain punches and projectiles would kind of get stuck on a character, stutter, and do what appeared to be multiple hits. So for instance, a lightning would hit someone just right so that it would stick to them for a split second, shake and there would be two impact noises. I don't know if thats a glitch with the game or the emulator (snes9x) but it was pretty neat looking.

It happened again earlier today when I was playing. The next time I play MK1 im going to record it.If Freewebs allows you to upload videos Im going to post it here.
I was able to pull it off while recording it.But ZSNES edited the video for some reason and it stops a few matches before it happens.I'll just start recording when I make it to the Endurance matches.

Could that have anything to do with the "Deathpunch" glith ?It's something like when they jump at you ,and if you hit them a certain way ,they lose more health than normal .Look on Gamefaqs they have Deathpunch guides for Mortal Kombat 1 and ,2 and ,possibly the rest of the series too .

Yeah in MK2 if you hit a HP out of the air at a specific angle it will do uppercut damage and you'll hear like 3 or 4 punch connections.

I thought that in MK1 on SNES you could move instantly after defeating 1 of the 2 endurance round characters, if you jump kicked them before they land on the ground after jumping in, they'd die in a single hit. It felt kind of awkward to not be able to move in the Arcade version (only by special move).
