Is Mokap a joke at the MK fans expense?

I was thinking of the stupidity of the character Mokap and I realized something. Mush like Star Wars fans, MK fans take every little nitch of MK, and incorporate it into the overall scheme of the story. ie, the background characters in MK2 ("Blaze", Shadow Priests, even ERror MACro), the differnce in characters "Chamelion" and "Khamelion" in MK3, Meat in MK4. And when Boons site put up Zebron, the was a big uproar about that.

Don't get me wrong, I like the mythology behind all that stuff. But Mokap is the most retarded idea for a character. It's almost like they are mocking our love for the characters and story. A motion capture actor has to fight MK in his outfit? Give me a break. They could have given us a cool character, something like Noob and Jade where in MK2.

well its not like he's a bad fighter..one of the best to be exact

but its homage to one of the motion capture artists for the game

when u make games like that u are allowed to parade ur friends around..same goes for movies..look at every adam sandler movie and see how many of his friends show up

I personally don't like him. I was like "Ok, no hidden Smoke, Ermac, etc. but they just used the Motion Capture dude which probably was just a matter of not assinging a 'skin' to him"

Again, great game but the 'oh it was rushed' thing probably gave us this great creature known as Mokap

IMO, he's one of the best characters, I dont know how you can call him a shit. Is that even legal? I'm sure it's a sin to call Mokap a piece of shit character. He tops most MKDA characters when it comes to fighting.

In terms of fighting he is great, but in storyline and his connections to other fighters hes a joke and I htink theyshould have put in a fighter from one of the old games to enhance there storyline.
