Let me put it this way- if I could choose between purchasing Mortal Kombat Advanced, and being stalked and forcably strangled to death by some sort of giant MurderBot... I would still choose MKA, but not by very much.

It's ok, but I recommend you get MK: Tournament Edition instead.

I'm going to buy MKA when I can find it. I'm gonna try to collect all the versions of all the MK games!
It's like they took the console version of UMK3 and HORRIBLY BUTHERED IT!

It's not bad...far from it

It is without a doubt, the single worst GBA game that I have ever layed eyes on. Given the power of the console, there can be some exceptions, like how there are some frames missing and stuff like that , but that still takes a lot away from it.

You're better off getting MK:TE, or if you can find it, a copy of UMK3 (in which this game is a port of) or MKT

You can hardly see the game because of the darkness which the brightnes levels in th option menu doesn't help much. Its very hard o control. The animation is really bad, the sound isn't great either. You should just get MKTE instead because MKA truly does suck. And its no like me to say such a thing about a game but when they take one of your favourite games and do this to it, its just wrong!

It's just UMK3 done very shitty.
I have it, I got it when it was new, and it's really slow and glitchy

Kinda like the way MK3 and 4 were slow for GB. it seems very ROM'ish in the sence that the game almost feels like it's getting slower as u play. sad realy seeing as that copuld have been one of the best ports to GBA :(

It is a stripped down version of the Super Nintendo version of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. The SNES version of the game was stripped down enough, but they stripped it down even more on the GBA. It is a pretty bad port at that too, as the game seems to be missing a lot of the animation from the SNES version and the backgrounds look like crap. The only good thing I can say about it is that the speech sounds much clearer than the Super Nintendo version.

who's a wha????? anwho i played it a bit more and would also like to add the graphics suck. i for some reason used to think they were nearly up to standard. i played the SNES & SGen versions and then the GBA port and well. it's even worst then i remembered. Personaly i tink it's worth picking up just for kicks as to see how bad it is. but i wouldnt pay more then mabey 5 bucks for it. and thats if its in Grade A C-10 condition.

I think it's not too bad, but I recommend to anyone to rent it or try a friend's copy first, before you buy it. I get as far as Motaro but can't beat him. I like MK:TE better!

I suggest the user with less than a handful visits calm down ASAP. It's too early for you to be doing that shit. Mods can issues things worse than skullz, you know.... wink.

And please don't flame users who cross the line. That can fuel the fire at times, so it's best just to let Big Brother handle it.

I have MKA.
The brightness is bad, the look isnt that great. When I first got it i thought it was kool but later on my mind changed quick.
If you don't put the difficulty on very easy, you are screwed.
Just a few things wrong with this game. It coulda have really been made better, but hell so could the gameboy advance. I still wonder why they didnt add the x and y buttons.

It's worse than what the reviews say. Play a game like Color a Dinosaur, that's better.

I like it, especially the glitch where for example: Subzero's freeze; D F (You can wait for a few seconds) punch. He'll do the freeze.

I lost it before, and I'm gonna get it again...
