Well I wanted to know if Reptile is in the arcade game? If they took reptile out just as they took smoke out from mk2 then I'm going to be piss big time!
He is in the game...You get to him by executing a double flawless on the Pit and then doing your fatality. You cannot use block while fighting him or while you are doing your fatality, so the ones like Scoripion's where you would normally hold block and press up up, would cause you to not be able to fight him.
They didn't take Smoke out of MK2 (I do think you are talking about the Midway Arcade Treasures 2 and Shaolin Monks MK2 game). Its just that pressing the start button brings up the menu, and when Dan Forden pops out from the screen on the Portal stage, pressing down and start to fight Smoke dosen't work.

Wait now that I remember I did that! I double flawelessed my opponent in the pit and I did a fatalitity on his ass. So how come the next fight was in shang's throne(no reptile)?

You also have to wait until something flies by the moon. If nothing goes by the moon, then you wont get to fight Reptile, even if you get a double flawless and do your fatality, and not use block. However, if something did go by, then you probably used block, or done a fatality that required the block button. Also, uppercutting them off of the pit dosen't count as a fatality.

lol. I know an uppercut in the pit is not a fatality. I think my game is busted. I never see something fly by the moon, but yeah that time when I did what you had to do in order to fight Reptile I didn't see nothing by the moon.

There are 6 stages. The courtyard is always the first stage. Reptile is accessible during every 8th cycle of stages. So all u have to do is count the courtyard 8 times, and reptile will be accessible when the pit shows up after the 8th time u fight in the courtyard. Some people have tried to make equations such as 6 stagesx 8 cycles=48 battles, but this doesn't work because Goro's lair does not always show up in each cycle, making the exact number of battles required variable. I always wondered if another secret could be found by beating reptile more than once in a row, but after fighting him 3 times, and filling the points bar up with 9's I gave up. it cures insomnia and no the points didnt roll back to 0.
