These are questions and topics I like to see. The answer to your q is probably the fact that juggles do more damage when the opponent is in weapon stance. Either that or you're powered up and too zoned out to realize it.

He was a cool character, the only problem is that I think he will get offed in the next game because his whole bit was to kill Shang Tsung. I wouldn't expect them to let go of a character like Shang Tsung to develop a blind first generation character who was really a take off on another character.

I tried to get more and more out of him and I came to realisation that tai chi is F***ing great stance, with great options but his second stance is quite weak. well, katana is imo the best weapon in the whole game ( it's similar to Scorpion ninja sword ) and in combination with his specil attack you can learn how to pull off one of the longest combos ( juggles ). Kenshi is imo better than Scorpion and is in the same league as rayden. But this is only my opinion.

Yeah if Kenshi actually had some fighting skill he would be oh so deadly... but he is blind.

Kenshi's huge juggles are the only combos I know of that cause less damage when hitting into a wall then if you don't hit it. I'm sure lots of ya have figured out about these kind of damage multipliers (or what you may call them yourselves).

I like to catch opponents off the bat with a back-dash slam. b,b,bdb+1

This works a lot cuz who's gonna block at the very beginning of a fight? Especially when you back dash. It occasionally works in the middle of a fight but will be blocked by the CPU cuz it cheats on blocking. If it is blocked by a good human player, you're gonna take a lot of damage!

MkFan: Tai Chi is ok. You'll find as you play more of the game that compared to other fighting styles in the game that it's a little slower and doesn't have many safe mix-ups.

(not safe = too much recovery time after a move)
(mix-ups = pretty self explanitory, high/low attacks)

Your best bet with Kenshi is to always be side-stepping and keep your finger on the block button. Kenshi is most effective as a defensive player waiting for an opening to demolish. When you get the big combos down (i think you said you do), your opponent should be dead after just 2!
