Anybody in here ever seen Kitana in Mortal Kombat I? I remember several times on my SNES copy of it, that sometimes during the middle of a fight(it always happened in the arena with the audience and shao kahn way in the back and everything), she would appear and do her winning pose from MKII and I can't remember what she said..damnit..it was very similar to Reptile's appearances though..

I wish I hadn't lost my copy of MKI(unfortunate i know), or else I could sit down and play for a while and more likely than not it'd come up(because i can't remember what the heck she says). Did this ever happen to anyone else? Also strange that Reptile does that and he was a secret character but she appeared but wasn't a character you could fight or play as.

*Ahem*, yes, yes she was. On the Super NES version, just as I described. I don't mean as a playable or fightable character, however like I stated, her appearance was very similar to Reptile when he appeared in the middle of rounds.

No, I don't see it could be hacked, as I said, it was SNES, not a simulator or anything. I know what I saw, it happen more than once. Perhaps something was defective with the copy..? Hmm, PERHAPS I am mistaken, but unless my brain has gone bye bye I doubt it, I distinctly remember this.

Let's just not fight over it..I've seen more than once on these forums people flame over whether or not something was actually in an MK game..

KITANA WAS NOT IN ANY VERSION OF SNES MK1 EVER IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM.

Could have been a hacked version there are alot of them out there.I doubt she's in MK1 your probably confused with MK2.Since Jade looks like Kitana only with dark skin.

You do know that kitana was created for Mk2. She had nothing to do with the storyline of MK1.

It was probably Jade in MK2. She would appear before a fight and do Kitana's win pose and give clues. Kitnana was not in MK1.

It had to be Jade in MK2, there's no other explanation. But saying things so ridiculous deserve to be jumped on. I HATE when people say things like "I saw such and such happen in X game." when it's a complete and total lie and/or impossibility.

It could be a hacked version by a fan people, so dont insult him. It could have been done after Mk2 was done, there are games like that here.

I had a Mk1 for Nintendo that had Tsung and Goro playable. ALSO Kung lao for Mk2 and the 2 colors of the outfits to choose.

Also a Mk3+Mk2 mix that had Mk2 and Mk3 characters for nintendo, so this is possible! But not real or official.

And no, Kitana was not in mk1, she came in Mk2.
