He repeatedly stated that it was MK1 several times. Something so mindbogglingly stupid deserves to be jumped on. I hate every classic MK board there is to some degree, the only reason I post on them at all is to spread the UMK3 videos that DreemerNJ and I make. By keeping up with the forums, and posting valid information, or setting people straight when it comes to falsehoods, it creates a following, and this way, more people will read my posts when I do deliver a new video. It's funny though, how often do I create a topic? Not very often, yet one of mine is a sticky on this thread.

This thread relates to an idiot friend of mine who argued with me that he's way better than me in original Street Fighter II- I had introduced him recently to that game, being it was his first time of getting hands on a Super NES.
Two days later we play again, he cheeses so bad while I'm blockin his dirt jabs and striking hard with fierce attacks and special moves, then he thanks me by saying "Im way better than you, man.".
I played SFII the day it was released.

I'm out of this 'Kitana in MK1' room. I wouldn't be suprised if Ninja came back swearing he fought Noob Saibot in the Palace Gates.

My superiority complex, when it comes to complete and total morons, is rightfully deserved. This guy didn't ask, he TOLD. He said that he out and out saw this happen on his SNES version of the game on the SNES itself, not an emulator. If you would take a minute and read the first two posts he made you would realize why. It's the ignorance that amazes me. I have to say it so often, but don't come to defense of morons, just don't. The only thing that makes sense about a resemblance to Kitana and MK1 is that Kitana and Sonya (who was in MK1) share the Square Wave Flight move. But there is absolutely no appearance of Kitana in MK1. Sonya was the ONLY gal there.

No the guy is just being a total ass/liar. He knows Kitana isn't in MK1, he just wants to see if people will believe it. He said that she appears before fights and says things, but isn't playable, or can't be played against like Rain in UMK3. He even corrected someone early on who said she wasn't as if it was a known fact that she appears in SNES MK1. That's stupid bullshit that needs to be addressed.

I happen to have the exact same attitude about "MK bullshit" as MK2KungBroken does. And how can I tell that Islamic_Ninja is lying? I have the Super NES version of MK1, myself, and alas...there is NO KITANA in there! In the Courtyard is SHANG TSUNG, not Shao Kahn! Has Shao Kahn EVER looked like a feeble old man in the MK series? NO! Has Shang Tsung? YES! Case closed! Is there a Female Ninja sprite at all in MK1? NO!

Its funny, after reading all this I now have, through the power of suggestion, a clear image of Kitana in MK1.

I know she's not in there but just from reading the posts about it now I can imagine her popping up in some low quality image with a crappy costume to match. Now I feel like making a fake of Kitana in MK1. It'd be hot if I could make it look how it does in my head.

He stated that Reptile was a secret character, but Kitana wasn't playable at all. Why did some of you presumed he meant MK2?

Ok this isn't about Kitana being in MK1 any more.

How many times do I reply with an honest answer to something and just state facts without using anything subjective? If I am the FIRST person to respond to something, depending on how asinine the question is, I will respond honestly, give examples, corrections, maybe even my own input if I don't have an answer. When I don't get to answer something first, and I see someone else corrects the person who makes the stupid comment, I wait to see if the other person understands the situation and why they are wrong, or thank the person for their help and if they don't and proceed to say they are correct and EVERYONE else is wrong, I then respond with an panzerfaust. In this case, the guy literally told TakerMK "*Ahem* yes yes she was." No. He's a moron. Plain and simple. She was not in any naturally occurring version of MK1, that is what the guy wants us to believe, and that is what this thread is about. Well believe it or not, even at 20+ years of age, some of these people on here are that gullible, I mean hell, after all some people still believe in Ermac, I guess those people also believe in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, but again that shows the intelligence level we're dealing with. If you don't think this topic requires "my" level of ERMAC, then you don't belong posting on message boards in general. And just when you think people KNOW better than to believe such bullshit after 11-12 YEARS that MK has been out...most of the crap out there, we've heard millions of times already, and has been proven false!
