This is listed under the revisions for the REV. 4.2 of MK2 arcade. I was wondering what the heck this fatality is and how to perform it. I searched for over an hour with no luck (google, various FAQs). I only came up with the list of revisions over and over again.

Also, how do you perform liu kang's red dragon fatality (also listed under 4.2)? I've never even seen pix of it.

I though MK2 last (official) arcade revision was 3.1. Maybe you're talking about hacks.

Plz stay on topic...

Version 3.1 was the last official MK2 released.

4.2 is a hacked version, and I believe it is possible to do a Red Dragon fatality in it (I think I've heard that on these very boards...)

My suggestion DeAthWaGer, is to use the 'Search MKO' feature of this site, you might find out how to do it in a previous thread about this topic.
Actually MK II Revision 3.2 (European) was the very last official release of MK II, but I think its 100% the same like 3.1 except that you can choose all kinds of European Money in the Coin selection screen.

Thanks for the input. I saw the "revision change" listing under a lot of MAME sites and there's no mention of it being a hack on those sites. It's also in the "history" downloadable file for MAME, which is how I found out that is in in fact a hack, and so is v9.1 and "challenger".

Here's what it says for those versions:

REV. 4.2 (hack) :
* Uppercuts are faster.
* Cage does red shadow kick and uppercut every time.
* Cages shadow kick goes twice as far.
* Barakas roundhouse has awesome range.
* Noob Saibot after only six wins.
* Pong after only 20 or so wins.
* Secret characters vulnerable to missile weapons.
* Liu Kang has a red dragon fatality.
* Kung Lao has a bones in his hat fatality.

REV. 9.1 (hack) :
* Play Pong after 12 wins.
* Play against Noob Saibot after 6 wins.
* Jax has a faster face smash.
* Faster Uppercuts.
* Johnny Cage has full time red shadow moves.
* And there is the multiple Dead Pool Fatality (normal upper cut will knock the person in, then you can continue to hit them while they're in the acid).

CHALLENGER version (hack) :
* More difficult fight ladder that often begins with Kintaro or a hidden character.
* Dead Pool Fatality where you can punch the opponent out of the acid and make them stick in the air.
* Johnny Cage has full time red shadow moves and all of the secret characters can appear on the fight ladder.
* Super extended time to perform fatalities.
* Fight Noob a lot sooner.
* Play Pong a lot sooner.
* Uppercuts are faster.

Again, if anyone has any info onto how to actually perform these hacked fatalities I'd appreciate it.

Thanks, I was just playing it myself (these hacks are weird!). I was just trying to see if perhaps the fatality was randomly red like Johnny's shadow moves (which in most of the hacks are always red)... well... you know what i mean... i'm going to bed.

Well... if there is a red dragon fatality I imagine it must be a kind of glitch... kind of like the green sonya or silver goro in MK1... only he looks red.... just like u said

Now... I'm trying to imagine what bones in hat is but I just can't think of anything!
