Ok so like, I'm trying to collect every MK game ever. I'm only a handful away, or at least I thought I was, until ]0MBAT reminded me of the Russian collection of PSX games. I want to make sure there's no other titles I'm forgetting. Plus it'll be fun to see an entire list.

Well i thought you'd listed EVERYTHING, but of course I found sumthin you were missinggrin

I had MK1 and MK2 on AMIGA!!! And they were very good versions of the games, definately worth getting...
-Here's a screenshot of MK1 on the Amiga, damn I miss those days: And how could I reminise without putting the box covers on, the MK1 was kick-ass! Never forget going to buy it when I was 7, reading the little red sticker saying "15" but I still went ahead to the counter, of course the woman never noticed and I was playing Mortal Kombat that afternoon...

I just looked it up on ebay and some auctions from the UK.

So like, I'm not all that familuar with the Amiga. Is it really a system? It looks like it's just a PC. So is it technically REALLY a different game or just another version of the PC version(like how there's a version for DOS and Windows).

Well, I'm not too sure. I was young when I had my Amiga 500, so I don't remember everything. I do remember I had a shitload of games for it, it looked like a PC, but you couldnt connect to the internet or anything. I guess you'd have to do some research on the Amiga 500. But it is definitely a different version, the sounds may be a little different cus the Amiga had some sort of weird sound card. Lets just say that if you leave em out of your set your collection isn't complete...

It looks like they go for pretty cheap on the bay, so I'll pick both up sometime.

Well if you want the FULL complete set of MK games then yeah, you should pick em up. Especialy if they're cheap, if the Amiga system is cheap I suggest getting that too. It's well worth it, just to try the two MK games out, as they were hella fun to play back in the day.

I'll try to think of any other versions you are missing...

I would consider the Amiga version very different from the PC version. It wasn't like a PC with a different name, it was actually a different kind of computer, and it was actually extremely advanced and really good. Had multitasking and full color for a low price way ahead of its time. And, the MKs for it were actually pretty darned nice. Someone I knew at college had an Amiga for sound editting, (apparently it was extremely efficient and powerful for sound editting when it had a full keyboard attached) and he let me try out some Amiga games and stuff on it. I was shocked.

Also, There is a version of Mortal Kombat for cell phones. I don't have any other details though, I am not sure which phones or anything like that.

And, in reference to that other post, I believe he said he wasn't interested in any of the pirated crap.

Did that cellphone MK ever actually come out though? I don't remember any updates other than the fact that it was coming this summer or something.

And yeah, no pirated krap. He should be she though. grin

10,000 apologies.

And after some checking it looks like it isn't out yet, but apparently it is scheduled to come out October 1st.

pirated crap is always funny because here always like cheap knock offs that dont work.

i remember someone telling me once this guy he knew bought a pair of oaklys for like $50, or was it $100, well anyways he jumped into a pool with them on then the label oakly came of the sides of them, and he found out they where knock offs, haa what a stupid prick
