I know visual basic, qbasic, and shockwave if you wanted to try any of those. I dont know how much time i'd have to do it.

I also know C++ but not well enough to do a graphic windows game.

Hows about MUGEN? It'd be the easiest way. I have been working on turning MUGEN into MK style gameplay, tighter motions, block button, run button, etc.

...Shouldn't this be in the General Discussion Forum? What relevance to the Classic MK games does this discussion have?

Not meant to slam down on you. Just thought this was a bit out of place here.

This could be a good opportunity to discuss what people like about the 2D fighting engines of MK since if you want to make it you'd have to figure out how you want it to play.

Personally I like the lack of characters sliding on the ground, the block button, the run button, and the very unique states characters can be in, for instance when a character is stunned and flailing and cannot do anything but if an attack is done he or she can block. I haven't really found that state in other games and I think it adds a lot to MK.
