It almost certainly had to be MKII for it's balance of significance in and out of the brand, but I probably rate MKDA higher for quality.

You damn noobs,MK2 was quite possibly one of the greatest sequels ever and generally the best remembered MK game out of the entire series. Of course it deserves to be there.

It's highly debatable whether or not MK2 was the best. For its time? I would say it had no competitor. But that was when fighting games were just starting to spring up.

Nowadays, you could say, like Mick said, that MKDA was better. Heck MK3 and UMK3 arcade could be considered way better. Say, when will mortal kombat go back to 2D again? We already did MK VS DC, can we now do a 2D MK game? Just for once?

This top 10 is actually pretty acurate by my standards, even though I never have liked Street Fighter too much. When you include "All Time", meaning all fighting games today and then, MK2 at #4 is an honor.

I agree. Theres alot of really good games out there that get more attention. MK2 (which was one of the best MK games in my opinion) at 4 on top ten games is pretty good.

MK series is better than Namco crap .So beat it .
