MK 2 Watchdogs and Kano Transformations
What are Watchdogs and Kano transformations in the mk2 game audits screen? First of all the idea that it is just a gimmick to get people to feed coins into the machine to chase the wind doesn't seem logical. Only the maintenance guy with the key could access that screen when the game glitched or after hours when everyone left the arcade. Who actually saw that screen as a quarter paying player at the arcade ?????!!!

Well, that is actually all they are. While Kano does appear in the background of Kahn's arena, that is his only MK2 appearance. It was an old rumor you could transform into Kano through Shang Tsungs Morph special, but since has been proven false. All it is is incintive to make a player spend more coins to try to find it.

It really wouldn't surprise me that NRS were probably the ones starting some of those rumors back in the day, just to mess with us fans.

Well, Midway did place this text in the audit screen only to start rumors so more people would play.legoslayer10 Wrote:

That still doesn't answer what "watch Dogs" are in the MK2 audit screen. There is no motive for money on that one. What is a "watchdog"? Has anyone even seen the counter for this field at any number other than 0 ?
