Its official its being released. Its not going to be a port of an old game but its not going to be a new game either. It says it will probably be a SNES game port with new controls perhaps with the touch screen, and a few new characters. So what do you all think?

Nice find, but that isn't really official...just speculation. I really hope it's not just some port, I'm hoping for something that's new or at least has had a lot of changes made. I really dunno what I'd want for a DS MK...maybe a Ultimate MK2 with extra playable characters like Jade, Noob, Smoke, Ermac, maybe a way to free Sonya and Kano and control them, and ability to play online. Or it'd be cool if they could make a game like MK4 in MK3-style 2D.

Hmm, maybe it will be a port/remake of MK:Mythologies Sub-Zero, that would be pretty awesome...

I'd like either a revamped version of Mortal Kombat Tournament Edition, or like some said, I remake of Mortal Kombat Sub-Zero Mythologies, or, even better, a Scorpion Mythologies. What ever Midway comes up with I'm getting the game

Looking forward to it, myself. Been wanting a worthy 2-D MK game to play on the go. I'll prolly buy it when it comes out.
