MK II Shang Tsung...

I beat MK II fairly easily (without cheese), but everytime I'm playing 1 player and I lose a couple of times against an opponent, when I get to Shang Tsung, he always seems to morph into that opponent in the 2nd or 3rd round. This happens fairly often. For example, I'm playing with Kung Lao and I'm fighting Kung Lao, lose to him a couple of times, get to Shang Tsung, and he morphs into him. I just wanna know if this is on purpose. Like, does Shang Tsung morph into the person that you had the most trouble beating in the fights before??? Maybe it's just a coincidence though...

I have heard this talked about before, and have even noticed myself. Way way back in middleschool as a matter of fact. Nobody really knows.

i dont recall such a thing. i remember most the time i could get to Shang Tsung with out having to continue with Liu Kang. but Shang Tsung has always been a problem for me to beat in MK2 when useing Liu Kang. so usually id lose and continue and pick Reptile. just do the acid spit over and over and get double flawless victory. then my memory gets hazy with Kintaro. i think i just worked on him by doing a bunch of jump kicks, some uppercuts, and a projectile here and there. Shao Kahn i believe i usually would beat with Sub-Zero cuz i would freeze him (or am i not remembering right and u cant freeze SK? cuz i dont believe u can freeze Kintaro).
anyways i dont really recall this Shang Tsung deal u speak of...
