MK Sorcerors

I've been a big fan of MK since MK 1 was in arcades. I have seen every last game, but one thing gets me. There aren't that many sorcerors to name of. We had Shang Tsung and then we had Quan Chi. I don't know what Shang is (it is rumored he is a demon who turned to sorcery) and have no idea of what the heck Quan Chi is. But I think MK needs more sorcerors.
There were the shadow priests, but all we have seen them do is follow orders and help resurect Sindel. There are also the sorcerors that live in the Netherrealm, but Konquest is so screwed up that you don't know what is true or not. So my question is, how many of you would like to see more sorcerors? I would at least like to see one sorceress.

It is said that Shang Tsung's true form is of a demon, but it was not seen for thousands of years so that knowledge of him is given to Shang Tsung himself. Shang Tsung learned his sorcery straight from Shao Kahn himself and spent many years practicing and developing his skills.
A sorceress would be a god idea. However each sorceror represents the traditional aproach to magic. Shang Tsung uses the elemental fire spells, and as i suspect, he is the traditional evil wizard who uses not so darker aspects compared to Quan Chi. I think Shang Tsung excells in more offensive spells: so he controlls elemental attacks and can abjure/conjure at his whim. Also, he is more tied to mysticism.
Quan Chi on the other hands is more darker, and my guess is that he is a necromancer, thus his powers involve death, decay. Theese powers are associated with draining life (Shang Tsung is exceptional, despite his magic is oriented elsewhere, he can drain souls) and cousing damage in a less obvious way.
The new sorceress should be more like priests (check my MK7 storyline, there is one sorceress there) and have spells and powers that reflect her nature, like powers what are attributed to what clerics did: predicaments, physical and psychical caretaking, defense and protection and something whats really offensive, but individual and nothing like Quans or Shangs powers.

I have some sketches that prove otherwise that Shang is not human, or humanoid for that matter.
