MK Trilogy is a great game. Probably one of the best MKs. But when you destroy Shao Kahn in Arcade Mode, the ending in PST and PC version are a shame.
They just put the same ending of MK3 of SNES and in the end, the screen goes all black, instead of show the city without the fortress.
I dont remember but MK trilogy for N64 has a different ending I believe. Anyone has a video of it?
MK3 in Arcade has a excelent animation of Kahn beeing destroyed. Even Better than Ultimate. Only loses to MK2.

I very much liked the ending in MK 3 Arcade. It was just fun to watch. I even favor it over MK II's ending.

They should have kept it the same.

PlayStation probably changed it because it would need to load the graphics for all the stages off the CD, so load time would have killed the ending. I think it would have been too hard to keep all the stages in memory with PS1's miniscule RAM. With a cartridge these wouldn't be issues.

PC could have handled it easily, but since it was a direct port of the PS1 version we got the same weird ending.

MKT for N64's ending is all the characters flying out of shoa kahn and it shows the temple blow up and the city is normal again. then its kahns treasures.
