It's not really that Sub's fatality is censored persay, it was sort of a joke to do it like that. Some people have tried to relate to something else, like taking the person's eyes, and call it the "Blackout" fatality.
I think by body possession you mean "Soul Steal", if so yes he has that.

There's an mk2 shang in mkt? I thought they only had mk2 kung lao and jax and mk1 kano and raiden.

Do you mean the fatality where he goes in your ear and makes you explode? That's not body possession, that's fly into your ear and make you explode.
Shang Tsung has the Soul Steal in MK2 and MK3-MKT.

The Head Rip Fatality isn't censored, why should Midway do that? They just didn't want to make all the head-rip sprites for the characters.

Precisely, although it would have been mucho easy to hack in the fatality and attach Kano's skeleton's upper body at least to an already existing head frame.

I'm telling you, the only thing they were missing was the Spine. Just the frigging spine! Thats like seriously 3 frames of animation repeated and mirrored. Thats it. They'd use uppercut frames or something for the head rip and then have him go into a stance holding the head. They just didn't want to make a damn spine.

They could have just used the spine from MK1 Mike lol, they didn't even have to make it. They just didn't want to do anything, bums.
