Its mugen, they can make any character as weak or strong as they want. They were probably going for a fair fight since in other such vids people have said that AI for a character gets turned down to make the match even.

*sighs* so much mugen videos -_- I kinda feel sorry for them (Ryu and Sakura). I saw a video showing (Young) Link and Mario vs. Scorpion and Sub Zero. Now that was hilarious!grin

A good place to start off with Mugen is Mugen BR.

You can download the Mugen game, and the site also offers links to download characters from many fighting games. I'd better tell you now that there aren't that many MK characters (as many Mugen creators are from Asian countries where MK never took off), and most of the ones available don't really compete with SNK/Capcom/etc characters available.

Another good source for characters/stages/etc is Street Mugen.

I've done enough Mugen work to not want to do Mugen work any more tongue Everybody seems to go for a XvSF style balancing system in Mugen. Make every character hideously broken so they all stand a chance. It's just not fun.

And its not geared for MK. MkvSF would suck because the gameplay styles are so different, one side would have to give up how they do things. In the case of Mugen, the side that has to give up their gameplay style is usually MK because the engine is geared so heavily towards capcom or SNK style play.

That's why I am making my own fighting game smile
