I sent the link to him and I guess I'll just edit the first post with the link when he puts up the smaller encoding of the video.

I'm DLing it right now and it will be up sometime in the afternoon, optimized for screen area and file size.

I can host it as is, the problem is I can't seem to edit it, it's 27 megs and really could be like less than 5.

I think it's hilarious that the commercial shows all the SNES footage and it was put on the Sega CD version lol.

All home versions of MK1 suck anyways, I won't play any of them...until I get my copy of MKD.

Yeah (cant do anything about the quality, its still watchable) but the commercial itself was pretty dumb. Was that the one shown on tv? Cus the kids running through the street I remember, but that music? That wasn't in the tv commmercial, cus ALL the kids shouted 'MORTAL KOMBAT' if I remember in the tv version. I guess it was some weird mix they put on the Sega CD...

Man, the original commercial for MK1 when it first came out rocked. All the kids just running through the street screaming, "MORTAL KOMBAT!!" If I'm not mistaken, that's where they got that MORTAL KOMBAT!! scream that shows up in pretty much any MK-related media.

Good idea, u seem to know how to tape stuff and host it so that'd be really cool if u could find the original commercial and host it

Oh and I think you're right PsychoFight, the "MORTAL KOMBAT" scream has been used in every MK media since. Like for the intro to the MK movie songs, the intro for the little MK history video in MKDA, eveywhere! Shows how well known it became after that commercial...
