Tiers are BS. I beat people with Sub-Zero & Scorpion in MK1, and Reptile in MK2.

Ugh. Tiers don't dictate who will always win and always lose. They just give you an idea of the potential of the character.

Character's like Reptile have extremely little potential in MK2. Chances are if you are winning with Reptile it just means you are a lot better than whomever you are playing.

I don't believe this tier crap in fighting games, characters are decided on the player itself, there is no "top tier" when there is most likely some other character that has the same amount of potential.

Ah, so those are the tiers for MK1 and MK4. What about the tiers for MKG?

Just put Sektor, Kitana on top, then under them, Mileena, Kung Lao, Baraka, Cyrax in no particular order, then the MK4 tier listed above under them.

Can I get a brief description on each of the characters for MK4/MKG? I'd just like to get a bit of an idea, that's all.

Tiers used to be on wikipedia but it had a bunch of bullcrap like saying Sonya was the best character in MK1 the game and the reason was she had a slide move hmmmmmmm....Sounds like sub-zero.Sonya is one of the worse character in any game

And she's quite good in UMK3, though not quite top tier.

Sonya is at the top of the mid tier in UMK3, she has a lot of potential and counters many characters well. She is also hard to juggle.

In MK1, she is the best character.

She's also very powerful in MKDA.

I agree on the high mid tier thing in UMK3,but how is she the best character in MK1 wouldn't it be sub-zero because of his abillity to infinately slide?
